The End

I'm quitting this blog for now. Trying to be an awesome blogger in a language that isn't my mother tongue, turns out to be harder than I thought. So I've returned to blogging in Dutch on a Dutch blog portal. I'm keeping this URL though, I might wanna use it later, you never know :)

The Slapstick

It took me twenty-three years to realize that my Dad and I share a love for slapstick humor. We both laughed out loud when we watched this promo for Ugly Betty. I didn't really wanna watch that show at first, but that promo might've made me change my mind. Is it a show worth watching and is it comparable to other series? Let me know!

Oh, and have I ever told you that Leisha Hailey is freakin' hilarious? Here's the proof:

The Reason

It's not hard to guess why Life As We Know It got cancelled. The acting isn't that bad, but the storylines are just plain boring. I also hate the continuous tortured looks on Dino's face. However, Dutch television started airing the show a few weeks ago and I keep watching it. Why? Missy Peregrym of course :D She's smokin' hot and she reminds me of a prettier, younger version of Brooke Langton. I can't wait to see her on Heroes. I love Heroes. How can you not love Clea DuVall in her role of tough FBI agent? :D

The Attempt

I am really trying to get some work done over here! However, my cat feels the need to hide behind my computer and eat the pen I'm writing with whenever she thinks I'm not looking. I'm on to you, cute little diva beeyatch!

The Wedding

So, I attended my very first lesbian wedding party yesterday. I'm pretty sure I was the only lesbian there, not including the two gorgeous brides of course. However, the mother of one of the brides was all over me. "You're next!" she yelled when I came in. And then she kissed me full on the lips. I guess she was all lezzy-minded on her gay daughter's wedding day :P A little while later she dragged my Mom, her daughter and me onto the dancefloor and happily yelled to my Mom: "Our dyke daughters!" Oh, and she also invited herself to my wedding. Which is fine with me, although being single at the moment might delay things ^^

I love that chicks can get married. I love how they can look gorgeous in their wedding dresses together. I loved watching their first dance. Lesbian love just fucking rules! :D

The Encouragement

Somehow it doesn't feel like I'm creating fun works of art right now. It feels like I'm longing to be on an airplane to Cyprus in four weeks. That is the joy of life after finishing the concept version of my thesis :)

The Dushliciousness

Being single again does have its advantages. I'm able to watch unlimited amounts of Eliza Dushku without getting nasty comments from a jealous significant other. Yay!
